The first thing that people have to know, is why study in England?. There are thousands of reasons for studying in England.  I have to say it is probably the best place to get educated. They give a lot more freedom, chance and richness in culture to the students which make students be more independent, creative and to get more confident in their future.

In Korea, as we all know, the level of education is a little lower than other advanced countries. It is because they do not exactly know how to develop individuals talent so that they grow up and be the person that 21st century society wants. In Korea, teachers want students to learn everything by heart that they were taught for a term in exams. It is very difficult for any student from any other countries. Of course, some exceptionally smart boys will do well but some will not, which means that they are not giving fair opportunities. This routine could make students to be less confident of whatever he/she will be doing and helps to fail their school life.

England is famous for education as the students from all over the world are keen to go abroad and experience Englands education system. It is proof that the quality of education in UK is worldwide acknowledged, quality in teachers, quality in individual caring system, quality in universities level. Freeing students from bondage of the cramming system of education helps them to be more logical, creative and positive in everything is one of the main reasons to studyin the UK. Also, they have well organized systems for students to develop into what they want to be. GCSE (middle school system), helps students to learn a basic knowledge of various subjects by studying them compulsorily. After that, the system divides in to 2 ways, GCSE and A-Level. GCSE is for the students who would like to get in to the business s traight away with skipping university education. A-Level, most of the student takes this course to go to university. In this course, the goodness of UKs education system shines out. The students can choose 4 or 5 subjects only during this 2 years duration course. It makes students to think more seriously and carefully about what they want to be when they grow up. Students will be provided with this privilege of education which maintenances through the whole university course. Another important point is being ready for the study abroad. I voluntarily resigned from Seo-Il middle school, 3rd year after summer term. Then I left to the UKand went to a language course for 4 weeks. First 4 weeks, UK was a bit unfamiliar and strange to me. But one clear fact was that people were truly kind and full of careful concern to me as I came from a foreign country. After I entered the St. Edmunds College for my GCSE, honestly I was a bit worried about the racism as I heard the rumor that UK is famous as racism. Nevertheless, UK was much more generous to foreigners than the US (I had lived in LA for a year). Soon, I got very close with English mates and I still have contact with them.

So what are the points of the list to be ready before studying inEngland? The answer is confidence. Without confidence, students will not be able to get what they need and want. Confidence to step up to the teacher and ask questions, confidence to go to a restaurant and order, confidence in themselves that they can do it. Also, a week planning of him/her will help to be more organized and prevent them from jumping out of the study routine. More organized means there are more chance for student to be more successful, either if it will be in academic way or larger way.

I hope my experience and article could help Korean students to get the amazing experience that I had in the UK.
