2012년 제7기 교환학생 장학 프로그램으로 Kingham-Hill School에 입학한 김지덕학생과 이희주 학생이 2012년 가을학기를 마무리 하며 소감을 전하였으며 Kingham-Hill School의 대외홍보 책자에 실렸습니다.

두 학생이 앞으로도 계속 영국에서 즐거운 분위기에서 학업을 훌륭하게 지속할 수 있도록 응원의 박수를 보냅니다.

Jiduk Kim

This is my first year at Kingham Hill School. I’m in Year 12 doing AS Maths, Further Maths and Chemistry. I’m also doing ESOL to prepare for Cambridge IELTS with the other international students in my Year. I’m hoping to achieve a good score in the final test and improve my academic vocabulary. The boys in Norwich House are great and they have made me feel very welcome. We’re always busy and there are opportunities to socialise and play lots of sport when we aren’t studying. The countryside around the school is fantastic and I love the fresh air.

Heejoo Lee

I joined Year 10 in September and this is the first time I’ve been away from my home country. I was homesick to begin with, but I’ve started to make good friends with the girls in Severn House. I find the lessons really interesting and love being able to work in small groups to do tasks. We get graded for effort and attainment every few weeks so it’s really important to hand homework in on time. My best subjects are History and Maths and my English is getting better all the time. There’s plenty to do at the weekends. We’ve visited nearby towns, went on a ‘Bushcraft’ day and got really muddy and saw ‘Chicago’ at the theatre in Oxford. It was amazing!
